Mango is in season too here in Inner Mongolia. We don’t get as many varieties as other part of Asia. But there’re quite a few nice ones. Like these little yellow babies which I’m not sure of their variety but definitely local.
Grilled Chicken in Balinese spices, Lamb ribs in Oriental Sauce and one more dish to be decided later on. Because one of the guests is a Dutchman, I thought he would appreciate some Indonesian cuisine that he’d recognize. ….. say, something like nasi goreng, satay or fried noodles
Xiaolong Bao, sort of huge dumplings with crab roe soup inside. Originally from Jiangsu province, the largest crab – hairy crab producer

My gear is a DSLR Nikon D700 paired with several lenses 50mm f/1.4 and 60mm f/2.8 as my prime lens for food photography. When out & about I take my my 24-70mm which is also the latest addition to the family. What can I say, it's an addictive hobby :D
