
Straight to the point, recipe section….
“Ah, sekalian nyoba prop baru, beli gerabah di pasar. Sayang piring2an dan wajan dari tanah liatnya ga ada yang jual. Apa musti nyari ke Jogja ya…? ”
Kue Mangkok (Steamed Coconut Cupcakes) Ingredients:
* 250 gr rice flour
* 25 gr tapioca flour
* 1 tsp instant yeast
* 2 pcs pandanus leaves
* 225 gr palm sugar
* 50 gr sugar
* 5 pcs kaffir lime leaves
* 225 ml coconut juice
* 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
* 1/2 tsp salt
* 250 ml coconut milk
Direction:
1.) Boil palm sugar, coconut juice, sugar, pandanus leaves, kaffir lime leaves. Set aside to cool
2.) Mix rice flour, yeast and tapioca flour
3.) Gradually pour in boiled sugar (about 375 ml) while stirring
4.) Add vanilla extract, salt and coconut milk, whisk on low speed
5.) Set aside for 2 hrs
6.) Prepare steamer (should steam in one go)
7.) Pour in dough into cupcake mold, fill them up to the rim
8.) Steam for 20 mnts – do not open the cover while steaming

gue baru liat recepinya, pingin sekali buat kue mangkok, tapi ngak ngerti apa itu coconut juice ( apa itu air kelapanya atau perasan kelapa yg kedua kali) lantas apa pula yang dimaksud dgn (kaffir lime leaves)

Yanti, coconut milk itu santannya, trus yang coco juice itu pakai air kelapanya. Kaffir lime leaves = daun jeruk, biasanya banyak dijual di asian stores – produk dari Thai
