It was one cold midnight
and the pale yellow moon hung low in the sky
restless but full of anticipation
knowing instinctively it was almost time
the road was quiet, almost surreal bathed in street lights
in between long breathes and quiet prayers
be patient my child,
I’m on my way
lost somewhere in those long walks
through the long cold hospital corridors
and more long deeper breathes
suddenly my mind slipped into a strange quietness
lulled in between realms
suspended in time and space
wrapped in fuzzy warmth and coziness
another reality took over
cold and almost harsh
push, they told me, push hard
they repeated the same word
again and again
everything stopped
the chatter stopped
my breath almost stopped
but my heart burst with joy
tears on cheeks

My gear is a DSLR Nikon D700 paired with several lenses 50mm f/1.4 and 60mm f/2.8 as my prime lens for food photography. When out & about I take my my 24-70mm which is also the latest addition to the family. What can I say, it's an addictive hobby :D

yeaahhhh…congratulations! I think I guessed your baby’s a girl in your last entry before you went to NZ? I was hinting your baby as a ‘she’. Nevertheless, am so happy for you and your family. Now, you will add another new chapter in life, there would be lots of posting and picts of Baby B (please don’t forget that) and more recipes (especially baby food).
BTW, you even gave her lovely name… really beautiful name. I wished her all the best in her life. To Mummy, take care and lots of rest…
